Fox Cave
Situated on the edge of a pond, the abandoned fox cave has many advantages to its location. Unlike the rest of WindClan territory, the place is actually well covered; thorns, brush, and shrubbery act as a large wall and guard the cave from most predators looking for shelter. The stench of fox from decades ago has faded, but it has been replaced by the strong scent of cats. A few stalagmites are found here, and it has a strip of land just outside, providing an exceptional training area. The pond also acts as an excellent hunting spot; minnows can be found in its depths, and many rodents come here to drink. A few lilypads and cattails surround the pond, and at certain times of the year, even frogs can be seen. A kit could easily fall into the waters, but even in the spring rains, it never reaches more than a few feet deep. The bottom is covered with pebbles rather than mud, so the water, for the most part, is quite clean, and an underground stream keeps the current running and the water fresh. Around the fox cave, squirrels and maybe even magpies can be caught, though only few trees dwell within the area.

Moorland Terrain
A vast part of WindClan territory is moorland, which stretches from border to border. Grass, brush, and a few boulders make up these plains, and the lack of shelter is the main reason WindClan cats can run so well. Prey can be found hidden in the scrubby grasses or even under boulders, though most reside in underground burrows that require patience and skill to hunt from. Dried up puddles, now merely deceptively cracked earth, are also found here, but you never know how soft the ground still is - so caution is necessary when approaching them. The moorland terrain is used mainly for patrolling and hunting, but once you reach the highlands, the wind picks up to where it might be harder to catch such easy prey. However, rabbits and crows like to find food here, and the latter is the primary source of food for WindClan cats.

WindClan Tunnels
The WindClan tunnels are one of the worst kept secrets of the Clan, although the entire reach of the underground network is only known by a select few. The official entrance to the tunnels is near the back of the territory, beyond the orchard and near the abandoned fox den, but burrows and holes are scattered all around the WindClan territory. The tunnels used to be highly maintained, but fell into disuse ten years ago, with only select parts ever traveled.

Board Information & Statistics
Territory
WindClan territory mainly consists of tall grasses, boulders, and at times shallow ponds or muddy pools. Crows and rabbits flock their territory, leaving the WindClan cats to put their lean and agile bodies to good use out on the plains where hunting is fast and sharp. Foxes have left abandoned caves on the outlands of their territory, and are the most popular predator to step paw on their land. Lucky for them, WindClan cats aren't big fighters, because their ability mostly sticks to the grounds of hunting. Steep cliffs can also be found on WindClan's territory, as well as hills that make up most of the area. Although they have few water sources because of the dry ground, ponds and streams can be found here and there. During the winter, birds usually go south, and the rabbits hibernate, making WindClan perhaps the most vulnerable in the cold season. Underground tunnels also dot the landscape, old warrens made by rabbits, badgers, and foxes, but not even WindClan knows the full extent of these tunnels - and beware, they are as prone to changing as the weather, and can be as just as dangerous.

All characters that are being created must have an outsider history before joining a clan, that is because the clans are in their early creation and at this time point, there is no such thing as pure clan blood yet. Clan Wide NewsThe clans are building themselves up and gaining new cats. Gatherings of any type are delayed until further notice from leaders. Inside Clan News• Until he receives his warrior name, Thrushkit of ThunderClan is now known as Thrushpaw. His mentor is Birdy. • Birdy joined ThunderClan but wants to keep her treasured name as is.
