Camp Clearing This is where RiverClanners lie in the sun to rest, share tongues and eat. The fresh kill pile is a little off to the side and always stocked up with fish and, occasionally, mice or other tiny creatures. The entire camp is surrounded by reeds and the dens are spread around the center. All the dens are similarly fashioned. This is where most cats spend their time when they are not on patrols or doing other duties, and the sandy ground provides the perfect place to lounge and rest. A large stone sitting next to the leader's den is the place for announcements; looking out over the camp, it's the highest point on the island, and when it's not being used, it affords a lovely view. Leader's Den The leader's den is situated near the river and is actually right beside the stone, where the leader gives announcements to the clan. The actual den is like most of the other dens: made by tightly tangled reeds and insulated by mud and feathers. The den is a bit smaller than most, considering it holds only one cat, but regardless was built for comfort. The floor is covered in a thick carpet of moss and feathers, and the leader's personal adornments - shells, gifts, and so on - lay scattered strategically around the den. Medicine Cat's Den This is where the medicine cat of RiverClan sleeps and houses injured cats. There is plenty of room to fit patients, and it is rare that it's filled to its full capacity. The den is located on the other side of the warrior's den, or basically across the center of camp. The medicine cat makes small caves in the earth to store herbs so rambunctious kits don't scatter them when they come through here, but has to be careful so that mud and muck don't taint them when the river rises. Warrior's Den The warrior's den is situated near the entrance to the camp and is in a tangle of reeds. For the safety of the RiverClan kits, it resides beside the nursery. The roof is made by feathers woven into strong, sturdy branches. Along the edges of the den are sparkling rocks and shells collected from the river, throwing glimmers of light onto the roof and ground around the area. No posts have been made on this board. |

Apprentice's Den This is the den where the apprentices eat, sleep and mingle. Most of the apprentices are energetic and restless even at night, and as a result, the moss is scattered everywhere, making an extremely messy den. Just like all the other dens, the apprentice's den is in a tangle of reeds and ferns with a strong roof made from branches and feathers. The den is beside the medicine cat's den, and is therefore across from the warrior's den and the nursery. It's not very close to the river. No posts have been made on this board. |

Nursery This is where the queens and kits sleep, rest, play and chat. The den itself is beside the warrior's den for most protection. It is located very close to an extremely shallow part of the river, so as to give the kits a chance to get familiar with the water and learn the basics of swimming. In fact, it could be said the area makes a little 'lagoon,' safe from prying eyes and easily monitored. Like the other dens, it is also in a tangle of reeds, though there are a great deal more feathers floating around in this den than anywhere else. No posts have been made on this board. |

Elders' Den The elder's den is possibly the farthest den from the entrance of the camp and, yet, still closest to the river. Elders spend most of their time here, chatting about their glory days and ordering around poor apprentices for the fun of it. It is practically isolated; located farthest away from the main hustle and bustle of camp, a growth of reeds all around all but shut it out from the others. Unlike the other dens in RiverClan, this one is actually made by two large rocks and a sort of dug-out cave that goes slightly underground. The roof is strengthened by branches and reeds. Being right beside the river, the elders don't have to go far for a drink, and even enjoy the luxuries of their own little clearing and beach. No posts have been made on this board. |
